The Libraries Act celebrated 100 years in March, 2007. The act was passed March 15, 1907, in the First Legislative Assembly of Alberta. To commemorate the occasion, public libraries from across the province submitted their local library history to PLSB. You can view the library histories, but note that it was current as of 2007 so links and contact information may no longer work.
