Special Areas Disposition Regulation Consultation

Dear Stakeholder:

Alberta Municipal Affairs, including the Special Areas Board, are reviewing the Special Areas Dispositions Regulation and the Application of Public Lands Act Regulation.  These regulations fall under the authority of the Special Areas Act and pertain to the leasing, permitting and use of public lands within the Special Areas. 

 Two three-column documents showing the proposed changes and rationale for each change are included in this consultation process:

You are invited to review and respond to the attached consultation document at  Stakeholder Questionnaire.  This document includes a stakeholder questionnaire and a section for your comments, opinions, or alternate suggestions and is to be completed and returned by e-mail or fax.  Attached for your reference are copies of each current regulation. Your suggestions and comments will be considered prior to the Minister’s approval of each re-enacted regulation.
